I know how hard it can be to arrange taxis in Margaret River.

If you are looking to book a taxi in Margaret River, there are a few things you should know.

The Margaret River Region is a really big region, it has a low population, and there are not many taxis, and definitely no Margaret River Uber, so my biggest piece of advice to you is to plan ahead. 

If it’s really important that you catch a taxi to an event, make sure you book ahead (and I’m talking at least a couple of weeks if you can) to ensure you have the best chances of getting transport. More often than not, Margaret River Taxis are booked solid on Saturdays weeks in advance. I’ll say it again, plan ahead!

Also, be prepared to have a backup option. If you can’t get a taxi in Margaret River, is there someone who can pick you up? Could you stay somewhere closer so you can walk? 

You can also try heading to the Margaret River Taxi Rank, which is located at 106 Bussell Highway, Margaret River, out the front of Settlers Tavern and IGA.

Margaret River Taxis are a locally owned and operated taxi service.

They are open 7 days a week from 6am, finishing on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5pm, Thursdays at 11pm, Friday and Saturday nights at 1am, and Sundays at 11pm.

They are happy to travel as far as Augusta, Busselton, Yallingup, Bunbury, Perth, and anywhere in between, but contact them directly for specific requirements.

Taz’s Taxi

Taz’s Taxis are a family-run and owned business in Margaret River since 2008.

To book, call them at  +61 8 9757 5178. At the time of writing, I am unsure what times they operate.
